Scanner Detection

The signal intensity in the detection zone of lateral flow immunoassay strips can be quantified by the use of a flatbed scanner. A template with up to 40 strips mounted is measured in the scanner.

The Scanner Detection Instruction is intended to facilitate measurement of signal intensity in the detection zone on lateral flow immunoassay strips.

The software MAIIAcalc rapidly gives the delta blackness per pixel intensity in the detection zone on each strip. It will be provided for free by MAIIA Diagnostics for our kit customers.
